Queanbeyan Quilters love making quilts for both the local and greater NSW regional communities as a way of imparting a little practical comfort to others who may be in need of it. They also partner with several National organisations including Barnardos, the Royal Flying Doctor Service and Backpacks 4 VIC Kids/SA Kids. Over the years, quilts made by Queanbeyan Quilters have been sent further afield to New Zealand, Canada, the USA and Japan as part of Australia’s natural disaster relief activities.
