Over our 40 years, Queanbeyan Quilters Inc. have presented an exhibition of quilts almost every 2nd year to showcase and share our love of patchwork and quilting. The exhibition is not judged by experts but by visitors to the exhibition who can vote for their favourites.
Our exhibition experience for visitors features a display of over 100 quilts made by our members, and includes a sales table of fabric and quilted items, patchwork/quilting demonstrations by our members, vendor sales (quilting fabric/tools) and a Community cafe providing light refreshments at reasonable cost.
The Queanbeyan Quilters Inc. Exhibition Raffle is drawn on the afternoon of the last day. Raffle prizes will include a large/Queen bed sized quilt made by QQ members (1st prize) and a large lap quilt made by a QQ member (2nd prize). The 3rd prize is generally sourced from sponsors of the exhibition.
