Queanbeyan Quilters Inc

Nineteen busy, energetic quilters packed up their machines and set up in the Alpine Room at Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa for a wonderful weekend of chat, sewing, eating and the daily cocktail prepared by our incomparable Sue. Many took advantage of the locality, walking round the lake and up the many trails, hiring a kayak, swimming laps in the pool. The weather held up nicely for us, with overcast beginning, a damp evening and a sunny day to follow. Not having our usual room was in fact welcomed by us as we had the adjacent courtyard to use and a separate cutting and ironing space. Enough with the words! See for yourself…
